Description
Neem is an evergreen magical tree every part, such as the leaves, seeds, flowers and bark have been used for centuries. Neem seed benefits you by removing all kinds of digestive problems, skin problems and more. HOW TO GROW: Fresh seeds are viable and old seeds have reduced germination capacity. Mix manure with soil (30:70) and this will help in seed germination. Care should be taken to see that the soil is clean from any weeds or pests. Open the seed packet on a sheet of paper and put the seeds in the prepared soil to a depth of half an inch. While pouring water, sprinkling water through sprinkler or manually using your hands. Germination may take 10-18 days. Then you can plant the seedlings in different pots or desired areas. DETAILED PROCEDURE: Fill a pot or flat with soil, then water thoroughly. Place the neem seed on top of moist soil and cover with just enough soil so that the seed is no longer visible. You don't need to water again until the soil is at least an inch deep. The easiest way to kill a neem seedling - or tree - is by over-watering. Try placing it in a spot that gets morning but no afternoon sun until it is growing well. They also prefer shelter from strong winds and heavy rains until they have had time to develop a good root system but will handle full sun and heavy rains once they are established. Transplant into larger pots as they grow, as they are like goldfish and will only grow as large as their pots will allow. They are heavy feeders and should be fertilized regularly. We use a balanced organic fertilizer, but you can use a chemical product. Follow directions exactly - if you get too many nutrients you will kill the tree. You will need to bring your seedlings inside before the temperature drops below about 35 degrees.
