The origin of Sri Panchamukhi Hanuman can be traced to a story in Ramayana. According to the belief, many years back during the war between Lord Rama and Ravana, Ravana took help of Mahiravanka, who was the king of Pathala. Hanuman entered pathala loka in search of Rama and Lakshmana and found out that to kill Mahiravana he had to extinguish five lamps burning in five different directions at the same time, so he has taken the Panchamukhi form with Hanuman, Hayagriva, Narasimha, Garuda and Varaha faces and extinguished the lamps and killed Mahiravana.
Panchmukhi Hanuman is said to be destroys the enemies while the worship of Panchmukhi gives attainment and protects from the dangers. He is supposed to be ruling Deity for Courage, Wisdom, Knowledge, and Creativity. As per Ancient epic Ramayana, Lord Hanuman was blessed by Goddess Sita as the bestowal of all kinds of Wealth & Prosperity. Panchmukhi Hanuman should be installed and worshipped for getting Success, Courage, Intelligence, Power, Authority, and Creativity. It is also helpful in removing Negative Energy of any place, and at the same time, it also protects from any kind of Black Magic, Evil Eye and all kinds of Fear & Phobias.
